Welcome to...LYNDSEY FAIRS

HOW WE BEGAN –                 AND GREW!!

The Dolls House and Miniatures Fairs run by us, Lyndsey Fairs of Stickney, nr Boston, Lincolnshire began with a very small but incredibly busy fair (with just 9 exhibitors!!) in November 1998 at the Star Inn in Sibsey, then moving to Sibsey Village Hall for more space.

Two years and six fairs later we decided to move the fair to the splendid setting of  The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa.  Built in 1905 as a private home, the hotel was the home of the ‘Dambusters Squadron’ during the Second World War. Set in 30 acres of woodlands and gardens, the new venue proved to be a massive success with both exhibitors and enthusiasts.

To see more of the Petwood Hotel visit www.petwood.co.uk

This is my Dolls House (Kirkwell House- thats another story!!) still in progress...nearly there!!

Going to a Dolls House Fair is just a wonderful experience and you will see some very talented people.

The Venue where the fairs are held is very welcoming and if you have never been to a Dolls House Fair I can guarantee you will want to return!!

Below is a picture of the entrance of the Woodland Suite  - Quite impressive inside !!!

In November 2004 the fair moved into the brand new 'Woodland Suite' giving us more space. This meant we could accommodate more stands and as we always had a waiting list this was really good news both for us and the exhibitors.

The  venue is disabled friendly with ample free parking (which has been greatly extended). Refreshments are available and for the long suffering partners the bar is open!! The coffee and teas are only 80p !!

We have about 35 stands, all in one large pleasant light room. (large window, chandeliers and spot lights). With plenty of room for exhibitors and visitors. The fairs are not huge, but they are always busy! - weather and advertisements permitting!

The fairs are well advertised in all local papers and in the Dolls House Magazines. Posters are displayed all over the county (TIC's, shops and notice boards etc). Up to 280 flyers are sent out to regular visitors to the fair. If you wish to go on the mailing list then please contact me on the supplied telephone number.

P.S. The name LYNDSEY FAIRS was chosen as we live in East Lindsey and our daughter is called Lyndsey!!Smile
